Many cities and towns were forced to cancel their annual Fourth of July events, including Rochester and Rochester Hills. But this summer, many of those annual events were put on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The city of Rochester Hills has postponed the Festival of the Hills, originally scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, at Borden Park. The city's development authority also canceled the annual Fourth of July fireworks display and postponed the downtown "downtown decking out" event until the fall.
